About the Richmond Rowing Club
The Richmond Rowing Club is a
community based club
which was established in 1863 and is the fourth oldest continually operating
rowing club in the world. Situated on the banks of the Yarra River in Melbourne,
Australia, the club provides stunning views of the Yarra River, the city
skyline, Federation Square, Alexandra Gardens and the Victorian Arts Centre.
|

Our goal is to introduce people into the sport of rowing and
encourage them to compete at the novice and intermediate levels of the sport. We
cater for anyone who wishes to row or at least have a go. The young and
the old, the serious competitor or those who just want to row socially.
International travellers who want want to continue their rowing during their
stay are also more than welcome. Richmond Rowing Club is a community
rowing club with an open membership policy, with an aim to make rowing an
accessible sport for a wide community base.
