Spring Learn to Row – Session 2

In session 2 of the Learn to Row course, you will build on what you’ve learnt so far and learn new skills, which will make your rowing more graceful and efficient.
Once again you will start out on the land with personalised coaching on the rowing machines (by now you will know them as ‘ergs’). You will continue to develop your rowing technique with the rower’s mantra – “arms-body-legs & legs-body-arms”. You will also learn some new techniques, such as ‘feathering’, which helps you glide across the water. With the theory done, you join your crew and coach/coxswain and get out on the water again for some good times, great scenery and fantastic fitness!
